“I have been using computer software since 1982. I first came across it when I enrolled in GEne Youngblood’s video art course at Caltech where I saw some of the first computer animation artwork. I saw computer graphics as a means to explore new ideas, images, and motion. I still possess this excitement. I use 3D software to create virtual pobjects and space and I then place these into real space. Both the real and the virtual spaces are transformed by each other – forming an in-between space, a space your body can understand..” (Jennifer Steinkamp,pág. 388 ,Processing: A Programming Handbook for Visual Designers and Artists )
